Mr. Swierkiewicz has extensive experience in property and casualty insurance and reinsurance underwriting, management, company startup, marketing, product research and development.
He is the founder and President of IRCOS LLC, which offers property and casualty insurance and reinsurance services, including arbitration, company startup and runoff, expert witness and litigation support, feasibility studies, product research and development, policy reviews and underwriting audits.
Mr. Swierkiewicz established the property insurance division for Kemper Casualty Insurance Co., where he was Senior Vice President.
He had a key role in the startup of SOREMA N.A. Reinsurance Co. and has been its Chief Underwriting Officer, Senior Vice President -Services, which included Claims and Retrocession, Executive Vice President of Fulcrum Insurance Co, the excess and surplus lines subsidiary of SOREMA, and member of the board of directors of both companies.
Prior to SOREMA, Mr. Swierkiewicz has been Senior Vice President, Research and Special Risks at SCOR, where he established reverse flow casualty, surety and fidelity bond operations and developed the building guarantee insurance product.
His insurance career began at the Insurance Company of North America (INA), which later became part of CIGNA, where he was Vice President -Special Risks, in charge of underwriting construction and energy related business and developed the system performance insurance product.

Expert witness experience
Mr. Swierkiewicz has been retained expert witness on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants involving automobile, property, general liability, workers compensation, medical malpractice and professional errors and omission policies. He wrote opinions and/or provided testimony about water damage and mold claims, misrepresentation in applications for insurance, coverage issues, rescission of policies, insurance broker?s and underwriting standards and practices.
