Dr. Baker is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry, receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1970. Periodontal specialty training was completed at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. He earned his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies and Master of Science degree of Periodontics in 1972. Dr. Baker served his country at Reynolds Army Hospital, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in the capacity of staff periodontist. Discharged honorably in 1974, Dr. Baker has maintained a private periodontal specialty practice in Palatine, Illinois. Membership in professional organizations include the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and McHenry County Dental Society. He earned his Illinois State Board Certification in General Dentistry and earned his Illinois Specialty Board Certification in Periodontics. Dr. Baker has held teaching positions in the graduate departments of Periodontics at Northwestern University Dental School and Loyola University School of Dentistry, as well performed Periodontal Instruction for the intern program while in the U.S. Army. Dr. Baker is a full time practicing periodontist with over 30 years of clinical experience.
