Short Biography or Curriculum Vitae: |
After completing his orthopaedic training and military service, Dr. Graf, in 1971, began a general practice of orthopaedic surgery with a special area of interest in hand surgery. During his residency training he was influenced by his professor in developing and pursuing engineering and biomechanical disciplines to an understanding of trauma, particularly as related to automotive trauma. He feels a particular responsibility to provide care for military personnel and their dependents. In addition to a commitment to the basic science foundations of orthopaedic surgery, he maintains and advances his skills in arthroscopic surgery for shoulder and knee, applying current techniques to the care of his patients.

Dr Graf has many years experience in illustrating patterns of injury to professionals involved in evaluating patient impairment and disability, including the evaluation criteria of the AMA Guides. He has particular expertise in the biomechanics of trauma including automotive trauma. He has several years experience providing documentation of musculoskeletal and associate neurological, thoracic and abdominal injuries resulting from trauma. He has many years experience in evaluating patients with chronic musculoskeletal and neurological pain syndromes. He has expertise in the evaluation criteria of the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, all editions, the Social Security Disability Handbook for Physicians and the Veterans Administration Schedule for Rating Disabilities. He has many years experience in explaining and illustrating patterns of injury and disease to both patients, judges, hearings officers, jurors, attorneys, adjudicators and case workers involved in evaluating and understanding patient and client impairment and disability. Dr. Graf and his staff are skilled in creating comprehensive analyses and reports incorporating the most up to date concepts. Full fee schedule is available on request.
