He is authorized as a Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Water Rescue and Ice Rescue Instructor, and is currently and has been certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for the past 30 years. Dworkin has worked as a volunteer and career Firefighter/EMT within the same time frame, as well as for the American Red Cross for 14 years as a Health and Safety Services Professional.
