Short Biography or Curriculum Vitae:	Dr. Rice has over 30 years of technical and managerial experience in both industry and academia. His litigation support experience as an Expert Witness in patent litigation began in 1999. Dr. Rice??s primary expertise is in is thermal sciences; fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics. He has focused in particular on the development and application of computational methods in these areas. In addition to the thermal sciences, Dr. Rice has also been involved in the development of computational methods for the financial markets. Dr. Rice was a founder of Compuflo, Inc and the original developer of the FLOTRAN software, which is widely used in industry for myriad fluid mechanics and heat transfer applications. Dr. Rice is the author of over 30 technical publications and has consulted for over 30 companies. This does not include the numerous companies that use the FLOTRAN software. Dr. Rice had conducted over 200 seminars and short courses in the US, Europe, and the Orient on fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and computational methods. He has also been an invited speaker at international conferences on computational methods.
