Bio

Paul Friedman is a practicing trial attorney, Judge Pro Tempore and adjunct professor in medical and research ethics. In addition to a Juris Doctorate Degree, Dr. Friedman also received a Masster of Arts in Bioethics and a Doctorate of Philosophy regarding Comparative Ethics.



Dr. Friedman serves as a Judge Pro Tempore of the Maricopa County Superior Court and was the Special Assistant to the Attorney General for the State of Arizona in litigation against the tobacco industry. This resulted in the largest civil settlement in both Arizona and the nation.



He has been involved on a national level litigating cases involving psychiatric/ psychological abuse as well as pharmaceutical and medical product liability.



Dr. Friedman teaches Medical and Research Ethics at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and Midwestern University.



In addition, he is a licensed real estate broker and the litigator for Western Security Bank.
