Dr. Dydek is the President and founder of Dydek Environmental Consulting, an environmental toxicology and engineering services consulting firm in Austin, Texas.
He has more than 30 years continuous experience in the environmental field. He has worked for the various Federal and State of Texas environmental regulatory agencies. He has also taught at the University level and has been in the consulting business for the past 13 years, the latest nine and one-half years of which has been with his own company.

Dr. Dydek has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health, and has done a post-doctorate fellowship in toxicology in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT)and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). He is an active member of the Society of Toxicology, the Society for Risk Analysis, the American College of Toxicology, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the Indoor Air Quality Association, the Air and Waste Mangagement Association, and other professional organizations.

Dr. Dydek\'s main area of expertise as an environmental toxicologist is the evaluation of human health and welfare effects of environmental pollutants. He works primarily on projects related to human health risk assessment for air quality and hazardous waste disposal facility permits, hazardous waste site remediations, soil and groundwater contamination evaluations, and has served as an expert witness in more than 100 toxic tort cases and other legal matters. Dr. Dydek has done evaluations of the health risks of occupational and community exposures to pesticides, solvents, toxic gases, petroleum products, metals, molds, and many other potentially toxic agents. In his work in the litigation support area, he focuses on general and specific causation issues.
